The workspace and its facilities
Located directly in the historical city center, our Unicorn Haus am Platz is already home to Potsdam’s creative scene, start-ups and small to mid-size businesses. This modern, newly constructed building set in a historical atmosphere awaits you with bright workspaces, meeting rooms, private terraces and freshly-prepared coffee drinks. Interestingly enough, the locals in Potsdam refer to this prestigious building as the ‘horse-drawn carriage stalls’ (Kutschstallhof), referring back to the time when well-to-do Prussians kept their carriages here.

The location
Haus am Platz is located in the heart of Potsdam’s beautiful historic center – surrounded by baroque architecture, cultural landmarks, and a lively urban atmosphere. The square itself is one of the city’s most picturesque spots, with cobblestone streets, carefully restored townhouses, and close proximity to the Film Museum and Potsdam University. The area offers excellent dining options: regional flavors at “Maison Charlotte,” Mediterranean cuisine at “Chi Keng,” or modern German dishes at “Restaurant Juliette.” For a coffee break, “Café Central” on the square is a cozy go-to. It’s a perfect mix of historic charm and modern convenience – ideal for productive days in Potsdam’s cultural core.
Easily accessible: Potsdam’s main station is just a 10-minute walk or a short tram ride (lines 92 or 96) from the “Alter Markt/Landtag” stop. Several bus lines and bike-friendly paths lead right to Neuer Markt. Parking is available nearby at Lustgarten or the Hegelallee parking garage.
