David Sanger, Non Executive Director

David Sanger was appointed Non Executive Director for Instant in March 2007, bringing with him over 15 years' experience as a highly successful, award-winning entrepreneur. He has particular expertise in HR, property, growth strategies, cost management, procurement, recruitment, VAT & tax, and employee incentive schemes.

David couples entrepreneurial flair with a proven ability to implement suitable internal controls and systems, to achieve the objectives set out by Instant's Board of Directors. His brief is to offer strategic advice; add real commercial value; help drive the success of the business; stimulate debate in the Boardroom; act as a sounding board for all the Directors; bring outstanding commercial experience to the Board in Marketing, Operations and HR Strategy; balance ambitions for growth against shareholders' risk; and support, stretch and mentor individuals in senior and middle management. All of his activities combine to support and steer Instant as it continues to experience high-growth by revenue and by geography, and to consolidate its position as the leading flexible office space provider in the world.

In tandem with his role at Instant, David is also a Non Executive Director of Rollover, the award-winning food wholesaler and distributor, which he founded in 1991, and sold in August 2006 (having grown sales to £8 million and profitability to over £1.5 million).

David read Economics and Politics at Exeter University, and then trained as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young.
